Choose the exact Combo bundle
The selected listing names the A1 Combo + LED Kit and describes AMS lite and an included LED kit. The same page also offers an A1 without AMS lite, so confirm the selected option at checkout. This guide covers the Combo bundle; the printer-only option has different contents. The moon lamp in the image illustrates a printing project, rather than establishing that a finished lamp comes in the box.
Multicolour printing with AMS lite
AMS lite feeds different filament colours into the printer for multicolour designs. Bambu Lab specifies up to four colours with one AMS lite on the A1. Colour changes can add print time and material use, so look at the sliced model’s estimates before starting a large project. A simple single-colour print is a useful first step when learning the workflow.
Build volume and calibration
The A1 has a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and automatic calibration. That is the printable volume, not the amount of desk space the complete setup occupies. Automatic calibration helps with setup, but you still need to assemble the machine as instructed, choose the appropriate filament profile and maintain the print surface.
